Photography Basics I

There are quite a few actions involved in photographing with a digital camera, iPhone, or smartphone. Knowledge of light, location, composition, and the right timing must be combined with operating the camera properly. During the basic digital photography course, you will learn to perform all these actions quickly and naturally. It is important to immediately put the course content into practice through homework assignments. The student has at least two weeks between each lesson to complete a homework assignment.

This course is suitable for beginners or participants who already have some basic knowledge. Participation is possible with a digital camera, iPhone, or smartphone.

Basic I is offered twice a year. An outdoor workshop will be organized to conclude the course. The cost for this is € 50. Participation is not mandatory.

Block 1: Mid-September to mid-February.

Block 2: Mid-February to mid-July.

Monday from 19:30 to 21:15 / 1 lesson every two or three weeks. Start date: Wednesday, September 9, 2026
