Are you curious about the world of illustration? Would you like to learn how to translate your creative ideas into unique images?
During this course you will discover how to develop your own style and bring your creativity to life.

What to expect
In six inspiring weeks, you will learn:
– Generate original ideas with association techniques.
– Explore different forms of editorial illustration (such as spot illustrations, covers and character design).
– Work with a variety of techniques: from pencil and paper to stencils, collage and stamping techniques.

Each class starts analog with pencil and paper, then we experiment with graphic techniques. Would you like to develop your design digitally later?You can, but that is entirely up to you.

For whom.
This course is suitable for everyone, with or without talent for drawing. You will be guided at your own level so that you can get the best out of yourself. Even if you have taken this course before, you can work on advanced assignments.

Why participate.
You will learn not only how to illustrate, but also how to bring image and story together. Experiment, discover and be surprised by what you can create.

Materials needed:
Cell phone with camera
Small scissors
Pencil, black pen, eraser
Color pencils
Magazines you can cut from
Sheets of sturdy white drawing paper (A4 or larger, from 120 gsm up)

The course takes place on Thursday evenings from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
There is a discount of €50 for participants under 21 years of age!
