Beginnerscursus Analoge Fotografie: Ontdek de Magie van de Doka

Heb je je ooit afgevraagd hoe filmnegatieven veranderen in die prachtige, sfeervolle afdrukken? Stap binnen in de wereld van de analoge fotografie en ervaar het zelf. Onze praktische Beginnerscursus start op 26 januari aan De Griend 3 in Maastricht en in slechts 6 weken leer je het hele proces van opname tot print!

📸 Wat je gaat ontdekken

• Live fotografie in de studio
  Ga aan de slag in onze volledig ingerichte fotostudio en leer de basis van fotograferen op film.

• Doka-basistechnieken
  Ontwikkel je eigen film, maak je eerste afdrukken, en krijg vertrouwen in klassieke doka-technieken onder professionele begeleiding.

• Eindpresentatie
  We sluiten de cursus af met een kleine expositie van jullie werk, hét moment om je resultaten te delen met vrienden en familie.

Na afloop neem je je zelfontwikkelde negatieven, een serie prachtige afdrukken en een stevige basis aan analoge vaardigheden mee naar huis.

Gevorderde Cursus

De Gevorderde Creative Dry Lab Cursus vindt plaats op 28 januari aan De Griend 3 in Maastricht.

Let op: Alle cursussen en workshops worden gehouden aan De Griend 3. De doka bevindt zich niet meer op de oude locatie Herbenusstraat 89.

Betaling & Aanbetaling

Boek je vóór 24 December dan krijg je 10% vroegboekkorting op deelname aan de cursus! Studenten en/of jongeren ontvangen een korting van 50,- euro voor deelname aan de cursus. Om je plek in een cursus, workshop of masterclass te reserveren, is een volledige of gedeeltelijke betaling vereist bij inschrijving. Deze betaling dekt essentiële kosten zoals materialen, chemicaliën, printbenodigdheden, onderhoud van de doka en veiligheid van de apparatuur.

Annuleringen & Restitutie

Omdat de workshops kleinschalig en zeer hands-on zijn, zijn alle betalingen niet-restitueerbaar, tenzij de cursus door de organisator wordt geannuleerd.

• Meer dan 14 dagen van tevoren:
  Je kunt verzoeken om je inschrijving te verplaatsen naar een andere cursus of workshop (afhankelijk van beschikbaarheid).

• Minder dan 14 dagen voor aanvang:
  Verplaatsen of restitutie is niet meer mogelijk, omdat materialen en tijd dan al zijn ingepland.

Uitzonderlijke omstandigheden

Onvoorziene persoonlijke of familiale situaties worden altijd serieus genomen, maar late annuleringen brengen reële kosten met zich mee. Waar mogelijk zal ik proberen een redelijke oplossing te bieden (zoals een tegoed voor een volgende cursus), maar dit kan niet worden gegarandeerd.

No-shows

Wanneer je zonder bericht niet verschijnt, wordt dit beschouwd als een annulering en is er geen recht op restitutie of verplaatsing.

Met de inschrijving voor een cursus, workshop of masterclass ga je akkoord met deze voorwaarden.

Beginner’s Analog Photography Course: Discover the Magic of the Darkroom

Ever wondered how film negatives transform into those beautifully rich, atmospheric prints? Step into the world of analog photography and uncover the magic yourself. Our hands-on Beginner’s Course starts January 26th at De Griend 3, Maastricht, learn the full process in just 6 weeks!

📸 What you’ll explore

• Live studio photography
  Get behind the camera in our fully equipped studio and learn the essentials of shooting on film.

• Darkroom essentials
  Develop your own film, make your first prints, and gain confidence with classic darkroom techniques under expert guidance.

• Final showcase
  Conclude the course with a small exhibition featuring your own work, a perfect moment to share your progress with friends and family.

You’ll walk away with your own developed negatives, a collection of prints, and the foundational skills to continue your analog photography journey independently.

Advanced Course

There is also a follow-up course i.e., Advanced Creative Dry Lab Course, which will take place on January 28th at De Griend 3, Maastricht.

Note: All darkroom activities, workshops, and courses are now held at De Griend 3, not at the former location on Herbenusstraat 89.

Payment & Deposits

Early birds whom register before December 24th receive a 10% discount on the total course fee. Students and/or people up to 21 years of age receive a 75,- discount on the course fee.

To secure your spot in any course, workshop, or masterclass, a full or partial payment is required upon registration. This payment covers essential upfront costs such as materials, chemicals, printing supplies, lab maintenance, and equipment servicing.

Cancellations & Refunds

Because these workshops are small-scale and highly hands-on, all payments are non-refundable, unless the course is canceled by the organizer.

• More than 14 days in advance:
  You may request to transfer your booking to another course or workshop (subject to availability).

• Less than 14 days before the start date:
  Transfers or refunds are not possible, as materials and resources will already have been allocated.

Exceptional Circumstances

While unforeseen personal or family situations are always taken seriously, please understand that late cancellations carry real costs. When feasible, I will do my best to offer a fair alternative (such as course credit), but this cannot be guaranteed.

No-Shows

Failure to attend without prior notice counts as a cancellation and is not eligible for a refund or transfer.
